Question

Can I unlock my Note 9 with Sprint?

Oct 6, 2018 11:04AM PDT

I just financed a Note 9 with Sprint under a great deal. I am planning on going oversees next year for a few weeks and would like to use my phone under a prepaid provider there. Can I unlock my Note 9 under Sprint? I am still planning on paying off the phone and wont' screw Sprint over. I just like a little control over my phone. I found a website that can do it. I am just wondering if it's possible.

Please don't tell me not to do it. My question is if it's possible or will it work? I know the risks and my decision. Thanks.

Might be costly.

That's a question for Sprint. Beware that a recent Samsung owner was very upset they had a locked device. While it was unlocked they had Samsung fix it and Samsung put it back to factory condition and that was locked. So they are fuming about it. But my findings is that Samsung will not unlock it. Sprint must.

I am using a 3rd party authentic to do it. I don't need Sprints approval to do this as it's my phone and I don't plan on not paying Sprint the remaining balance as my credit depends on me paying my bills. It's just I need more control over my phone and I know Sprint will say they can't until I pay the phone off.

My question is:::: Is that possible that if I use a 3rd party to unlock it, it will work?

I don't need someone telling the ethics behind this. Simple question.

That's for the 3rd party to answer.

Here we play it straight. If you are going down that road, you have to ask those that you will pay.
