Answer
Yes but
Dec 26, 2015 1:34PM PST

If you run it using the igp I suspect you will need low settings to get any kind of fps rate.
If you add the 960 that will make it much better but may require a psu upgrade.

will the 960 fit on a standard motherboard or do I need to buy a new one?
and will the processor work good togheter with the 960?

Fit
Dec 27, 2015 9:23AM PST

It should fit but because there so many flavors of this card it would be best to pick a card and get it's size.
Then you do some measuring around the pci-e slot.
I hope your not using some slim line case.

As for the cpu it should play nice with the 960

OK

alright thank you,
so It wont ''bottleneck'' as some people call it?
and do you know what kind of power suply I need for the 960?

Thanks! and do you know a good set of dual channel 8GB ram for not too much?
I dont have lots of money to spend

Re: RAM
Dec 28, 2015 3:32AM PST

There's no dual channel RAM. It's the motherboard that uses 2 channels to access 2 sticks of RAM.

It's up to you decide if you want 2 * 2 GB (totalling 4 GB), 2 * 4 GB (totalling 8 GB) or 2 * 8 GB (totalling 16 GB). What are the recommended specs for GTA V? Whatever you buy (if you need to buy it, because the current RAM is insufficient) be sure that it is compatible with your motherboard.

It looks like you have 4GB of ram in the machine now.
Test with that first.
If you don't like the results go here and run the scanner.
It will tell you the ram that fits your machine.
Pick a 2x? kit.

Dec 28, 2015 10:54AM PST

I will test it first but if it isnt good enough I want to buy 2 x 4 GB (totalling 8 GB)

Dec 28, 2015 11:03AM PST

Maximum memory: 8192MB
Slots:2 (2 banks of 1)

so does this mean I can use 2 x 4 GB (8 GB)?
and it says 8192 is the max so does that mean I cant install more then 8GB?

Dec 29, 2015 3:03AM PST

But when I searched for the Crucial Ballistix Sport BLS2CP4G3D1609DS1S00CEU 8 GB DDR3-RAM 1600 MHz 2 x 4 GB
the website told me it was not compatible, why is that?

If you use the crucial scanner it should bring up a list of
compatible ram.

Pick ram from that list.
No need to do any searching.
