Can I repair broken MP3s?

I've got a new SanDisk Sansa e280 player. It hangs when transferring broken (corrupt) MP3s, forcing me to reformat. So I got a trial copy of Ashampoo's Music Studio 3, which found 47 broken MP3s in a folder I'm trying to copy to the Sansa. Ashampoo's tool couldn't fix them. Is there some other method of fixing these broken MP3s?
