Resolved Question

Can I reinstall iTunes without loosind all I have in the lib

Nov 5, 2011 7:39PM PDT

Windows 7. iTunes would not play some videos I moved to the library (in MPEG 4)-it would play only about 5sec and than stop. I believe I have corrupted iTunes somehow.

to be on the safe side, backup the library before you do the Uninstall/reinstall.

Thanks, but I have now one more question
Nov 6, 2011 5:55PM PST

iTunes will not play video.
I reinstalled iTunes to the latest version. No problem to insert video (MP4) by ' add file to Library'. But then it would play only about 5 sec and stop or show only black screen. But if I connect and sync to iPod it's all there and plays without problems. Could anyone explain it? I have another Vista laptop and have no problems of this kind. Could it be something related to Windows 7?
