My laptop, a Toshiba Satellite C50-B-14D, is made out of pretty flimsy plastic, which meant that I broke off the plastic pieces of the “grate” on the side, and some went inside my laptop. Out of fear of the plastic jamming the fan, I removed the battery, took off the back of my laptop, and carefully took out all of the pieces of plastic. I checked the fan to see if there were any pieces of plastic in it, cleaned off some of the dust, and put it back together. I didn't take anything out. However, upon turning it back on, I found that all of my data in programs was lost. All of my programs were still installed, but none of my documents or progress was saved, and it's all reset itself. The lock screen is still a picture I saved off the internet, and over 100GB of my hard drive memory's gone, which makes me think that it's still saved somewhere in there, I just can't find it. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!
