As far as I know, the only device you could export to is a certain Western Digital hard drive. Read here:

Why not use their apps instead?
I currently use a Cable DVR from Cogeco and I'm able to record the shows in real time to a DVD recorder. I'm away during the week and need to do this in order to be able to watch them while on the road. I play the shows that have been recorded on the DVR and then tape them in real time to the DVD recorder. (then copy them to DVDs)
I am thinking of upgrading to a TiVo DVR as it records more channels at the same time. I know that I can't record to a DVD this way with my Apple TV or Netflix and don't want to upgrade if that is the case with a TiVo service. Does anyone know?
