Can I Plug My Laptop Into This Plasma TV?

?Input/Output connections
2 x HDMI (19 pin HDMI Type A) - Rear, 5 x Audio line-in (RCA phono x 2) - Rear, 2 x Composite video input (RCA phono) - Rear, 1 x Composite video input (RCA phono) - Front, 2 x S-Video input (4 pin mini-DIN) - Rear, 1 x S-Video input (4 pin mini-DIN) - Front, 2 x Component video input (RCA phono x 3) - Rear, 1 x Composite video output (RCA phono) - Rear, 1 x Audio line-in (RCA phono x 2) - Front, 1 x Audio line-out (RCA phono x 2) - Rear

Will it connect using the S-Video input on the front panel? Thanks in advance for any help.

but your picture quality will be very very very bad, adding to the fact that it'll risk burning an image into the plasma tv cause its still fairly new (if you just bought it).

S-Video will work, but you will probably find the picture quality (i.e. resolution) to be unsatisfactory. The simplest, and among the best, connections would be one using a VGA cable. You didn't indicate this in your input list, however. Also, it's not shown in the manual for the 50U, which is the only comparable one I could find online.

DVI would be another option but, again, that's not listed and is probably not available on your laptop. In that case, your best option is VGA out through an HDMI or component converter.
