At the office we have laptops that were plugged in for 5 and more years. The neat thing about this is we'll replace one and find the battery is in great condition. Usually 90 to 100% of new capacity.
Our office had a long time client come back with a change request for one of out legacy apps that we wrote in 2005. The laptops used then were stored away for 7 years. We pulled one out and let it charge up and it booted right up. So my thought is your choice as to both ideas.
I have an asus x456u that has an i5-6200u with nvidia 940mx mid gaming laptop and the battery type is a Lithium ion one. Can I just plug the charger for a long time? Because I game and use my laptop for a long time but I'm afraid the battery would die quickly and my laptop might not function well in the future. please help me, thank you!
