Can I make the icons transparent?

Feb 18, 2004 9:25AM PST

My question is can i make the desktop icons background transparent?

Under display properties (desktop tab) you can set the background color for the icons. Is there any way to make the icons background color transparent?

Follow the instructions at the link below to accomplish what you want. The second paragrsph is important.

"If this still doesn't do the trick, right-click the desktop, point to Arrange Icons By and make sure that Lock Web Items on Desktop is un-checked".
