Can I load an HP 1200 series printer to a 98se os

by dennisond / January 24, 2006 11:57 PM PST

I hooked up the printer and ran install disc and everything went fine until the last step when it told me to insert Windows 98se floppy which I don't have. I am using the 1400 series on my XP computer with good results so I traded my old 600 series Deskjet for the 1200 in hopes of installing it on the old 98 computer

I still see Windows 98se CDs and license for sale on ebay and you can always try look for directory of .CAB files that are the Windows 98se install files.

Without that CD, your machine's days on this OS are numbered.
