Why not drop the SSD and get a big drive? Millions use that and it works.
I'm buying an Alienware m14x. I have an 256gn SSD as my primary hard drive and I am going to replace the optical drive with a 500GB or 750GB as a secondary. In order to save space on the SSD just for games and OS I want to install and run all other programs (Office 2010, etc.) on the secondary. Is this as easy as i think it would be or is there more to it? One hitch that i know of is that the secondary hard drive, which is a SATA 3, will be connected through a SATA 1.
Any help, warnings, or advice on how to do this will be much appreciated....
