Can I have streaming movie downloads for NetFlix or Amazon

Apr 22, 2009 4:15PM PDT

Can I have streaming movie downloads for NetFlix or Amazon on demand?
Is this possible and how? I don't want to buy a Rokeu or even a 2Wire Media Point video player for Blockbuster OnDemand service.
I know I can download movies via Playstation Network but I don't want to pay for every time I want to see a movie?
I want to totally remove cable services from my house. I have also been considering vudu at vudu.com but I am sure PS3 is not compatible with this service at vudu.com

With PS3's web tv capabilities I can log to any of previosly mentioned websites I would like to think so! But it will not be STREAMING is it?

Curious Technical Adventurer wants to know!!!!!

Try PlayOn @ http://www.themediamall.com
I use it and it's excellent. Streams Netflix, Amazon VOD, Hulu, Youtube, etc etc......And it's only a one time fee of $39.99

Just install on your PC and then it'll appear on your PS3 as an icon. Click it and choose your show!

There is also a helpful summary of the various ways in which you can stream video content (from Netflix, Blockbuster, Vudu, etc.) to your TV at the following page: http://www.moviemonitor.com/tv
