Question

Can I get my Playbook to find Media Servers like PS3 does?

Jan 26, 2013 9:59AM PST

I want to be able to find my PC's windows media server and vuze media server from my blackberry playbook, just like my ps3 does.

I have a PS3 and if I have my PC turned on, the ps3 will recognise 2 media servers from the pc. It shows Windows Media Server, and Vuze Media Server (if I have Vuze open).

I don't know how this works, but I wish I could do the same thing from my BB Playbook, without installing 3rd party software on my PC.

Does anyone know how this would work and what the Playbook would need to be able to do this?

Then I could stream files or download files from my PC's media files easily.

I would be loading Android and seeing apps for that.

I don't understand. How do I install Android on PB?

I thought the only android apps that ran on Playbook where the ones you downloaded in bb appworld.
Can I download Android apps to playbook outside of appworld?

That would be awesome. I want to run Graffiti Pro on the PB too.

Here's a search for that.
