can I get a what-what? and by what-what, I mean Joost Invite

by hught78 / March 5, 2007 1:15 PM PST

A day or two ago Tom and Veronica were talking about Joost, the new IPTV project from the founders of Skype and Kazaa. Well, I'm doing a my own project for school on IPTV and I thought it would be super-sweet to throw up a demo of Joost...if only I had it. So if anyone out there has an invitation for Joost, would you be so kind as to hook a brother up? Please, it's for the sake of my academic success.

Ok sure, if your looking to give a joost invite to someone for educational purposes, by all means send me one too. I'll probably review it on youtube.com

Good luck

Good luck with that, it seems that Joost is a popular topic on these forums. If you have enough time, just apply to be a tester and wait to be approved, it can't take that long.

Yeah, I have to present tomorrow for my class and I'll have to just stick with the TVUPlayer. I signed up a month ago but still haven't heard anything from Joost about beta testing. From what people have been saying, so far it doesn't sound like Joost has much to offer anyway. Just thought it'd be cool to contrast it with the alternative.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
