Can I forward windows live emails automatically

I am going overseas for a month and I wish to send a vacation message to people in my contacts list only who send me email to tell them that I am away. Is it possible to transfer the messages to say a "gmail account" which does have a vacation set up. The same question also applies to hotmail.
