You can have both on the same computer...Also I recommend that you have the people you work with install the MS Office 2007 Compatiblity pack: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyId=941B3470-3AE9-4AEE-8F43-C6BB74CD1466&displaylang=en
This will allow them to open 2007 docs in 2003 (although sometimes this doesn't keep 100% of the formatting)
Hi,
I currently have MS Office 2007 on my laptop, including Word 2007. However, for a new work contract I need to download MS Word 2003, as I will be uploading documents onto the client's system, which is not compatible with later versions of Word.
I've queried whether I could just save my documents in a Word 2003 format (using Word 2007), however apparently their system recognises that it isn't a true Word 2003 document and rejects it.
My query is therefore whether I will be able to download Word 2003, without uninstalling Word 2007? And will this affect the identity of the documents saved in Word 2003?
If running both on the same laptop is not possible and I have to uninstall the 2007 version, will I still be able to use documents that have been save in Word 2007 before uninstalling it?
I hope you are able to provide some answers!
Many Thanks ![]()
