It's not easy to tell you that to go back to IE6 you need to:

* Go to add/remove programs in the control panel.
* Check the box at the top next to ''show updates.''
* Scroll down under the Windows Updates listing until you find Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2.
* Click the remove button to uninstall.
* The uninstaller will remove IE7 from your system and return IE6 to its original place.
* All of your favorites and settings will be as they should be.

See, that was hard work to write all that. Happy

Hope this helps,
John

Not working...
Feb 5, 2006 6:18AM PST

I can't uninstall ie7 Beta2 preview. I have tried the "Show Updates" and then clicked on "Remove" next to ie7 but it says:
"Internet Explorer 7 Beta 2 Preview cannot be uninstalled from this user account. Please log on to the same user account from which is was installed and try again."

I only have two user accounts on my computer; I tried both and I got the same error message both times. HELP! IE7 is messing with programs that use IE by default. They have become unusable and it's driving me CRAZY!

I had IE7 on my system a whole 10 minutes. Back to IE6 for me. I absolutely love IE6 and loathe anything else. Why did they have to ruin it?!
