Can I delete the contents of this folder?

Can I delete the contents of this folder:
c:\documents and settings\my user name\local settings\temp

The easiest way to get to Temp files is by using the Run dialog box, entering %temp%. You can delete all it contains. If a file can't be deleted, it's in use.

For the most part, those files are created and deleted as needed. A few programs may not always clean up after themselves, but generally speaking, there's little point to deleting those files, they'll just be recreated later.

as other's said, yes but i suggest you use ccleaner
