try the steps in the following. sorry I did not post the steps here but it will require going to several websites to find and recover your bookmarks. ONe thing, you may want to start using firefox sync or an addon such as xmarks. This way your bookmarks are always available no matter what computer or device you are on.

Yesterday, I asked a question in this forum and got a great answer really fast so I thought I'd try another one.
I have 2 laptop hard drives with Windows 7 that failed recently. HP found out that it was the motherboard that was the major problem. They put in a new motherboard and sent it back to me. I tried one of the hard drives with the new motherboard but it still wouldn't start up. The new hard drive works fine. (For now)
I bought a "USB 2.0 to SATA + IDE (2.5 / 3.5 / 5.25") Cable Adapter" and I hope I can get the files off of the 2 hard drives.
My big question is: Can I copy Firefox with all my favorites and bookmarks from the old hard drive and transfer them to the new hard drive?
I'd really appreciate any help you may give me about this project.
Thank you
