Question

Can I connect Beats Wireless Headphones to my Samsung TV?

by joseigon / March 27, 2014 2:47 AM PDT

I recently purchased a Samsung 65" Smart TV (model UN65F7100) and would like to know if I can connect the Beats Wireless headphones to the TV via Bluetooth. I haven't purchased the headphones yet and would like to know the answer before I go ahead.

Researching the TV's specs online, I find that the TV has Bluetooth HID built in. However, reading the Beats Wireless online manual, it says that the headset is complaint with several other Bluetooth profiles (HSP, HFP, A2DP, etc.), but it does not mention HID.

Does this mean that they will not connect to the TV? I have read other forums where people have been able to connect certain Bluetooth headphones to similar Samsung TVs, but I would like to be sure.

Thank you.
Jose

All the Samsung Bluetooth is for, is for Samsung gear or a mouse and keyboard. As such you need to add some audio BT transmitter (so many out there) to get it connected.

...amigo, they are overpriced and sub-par for the money. Really, Beats are the headphone version of Bose IMNSHO.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
