Can I connect a TiVo DVR to my old Samsung RJ-11e?

Jun 17, 2009 3:37PM PDT

Hello,

I own a small business, and I have an old Samsung RJ-11e Security Camera System. Currently, I use a VCR connected to the monitor to record what the 4 cameras capture, but I'm wondering if I can replace the VCR and record what the cameras capture with a TiVo DVR instead.

If this is possible, how many hours will the DVR be able to record with an 80GB hard drive? I believe the cameras have 270,000 pixels of resolution each.

I'm sorry if the answer seems quite obvious, but I have absolutely zero experience with DVRs, I've never even seen one in person either; so right now, this whole thing is just a theory to me.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
