Can i change AMD A8 processor in my laptop?

My laptop is
Acer aspire es1 421

And i have
Amd A8 quad core 2ghz with R5 graphics

And i want to upgrade my processor into a better processor
Is it possible to upgrade my laptop processor? Please help

Sometimes processors in a laptop are soldered in, sometimes they can be removed. Have look how it is with you.
Then have a look at the CPU compatibility list in the specifications. It should tell what processors are compatible, and what BIOS version they require. If you can't find it in the published specs, ask Acer customer service.

It would be another A8 and the gain would be minimal.

Have you completed the other area upgrades such as:
2. Replace the old HDD with a SSD?
