Can I backup my all updates of Norton Antivirus?

All we know, we have to re-update our Norton Antivirus, whenever we format our disk due to some reasons. This makes a loss of Broadband usage. Is there any way to backup all those updates? So that whenever I want to format disk, there will be no need to go for those updates which I had already backup. It just need to restore those to make the Antivirus again full up to date without use of Internet.

But if you use a MANUAL UPDATE METHOD (I don't know anyone that does that) you can download the updates from http://www.symantec.com/downloads/index.jsp and apply them manually.
