can I add fonts to wordpad?

by bently / January 1, 2007 2:31 PM PST

Using XP home, SP2 all updates.

HOW do I add fonts to WORDPAD?

What type of font is required? True Type?

If TT will work, can I use TT fonts that I used with Win98? (lots of old TT fonts saved to floppy)

Fonts aren't installed for a program, fonts are installed on Windows, and all Windows programs use them.

So just install one of those old True Type fonts via Config Panel and see if Wordpad picks them up. If so, do the other ones. Let's hope the diskettes are still readable (that's the only issue, I think).

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
