Can I access a cd that was burned using a Mac on a PC?

I know this probably a ridiculously stupiod question but...

If I burn a document (in Pages) onto a cd using a Mac, can I access and edit that cd using a PC?

Yes, and No

Yes you can access that document from the CD you burned on your Mac
and
No, you cannot edit that CD because all CD's burned on a Mac, without third party software, are finalized.

Also, you cannot edit the document, unless you open it in something like MS Word, because there is no Pages for Windows.
