I'm going with no.

Hi, I have the above 10" tablet with android 2.2. It continually locks up and is not really useable. There is a reset button but there does not seem to have factory reset in the settings menu.
I was wondering if it might be possible to replace the old operating system, (android 2.2), with a later version?
I would really appreciate any advice, I just have a basic technical knowledge.
Many thanks in advance.
John.

Hi Bob, Thank you very much for your response and for the web links. No it does not look like I can upgrade from the android 2.2. It is a pity because this tablet is so much faster than my new one with jellybean. The problem is that it keeps locking up but I could just look for a fix or update for that.
Anyway, thanks so much for taking the time to check this out.
John.
If it's not a defect in the unit I find that clearing all user apps and data, either manually or with some "Settings" panel entry to "restore to factory, clear user data" to help.
But since it is still possible to lock up web browsers (if you need examples, just ask) be sure it's not in a browser at the time.
And reboot the device from time to time. It's not a perfect OS.
