Can close out programs on the internet

Once I am on the internet I can not close any programs. I have to use ctrl/alt/delete. to close out the program. I run widows xp home addition. Also I conect using a dailup service.

What anti-parasite programs do you use to keep out pests?

Examples include Spybot, Adaware, Housecall, an antivirus, firewall and such. Also, what software you use such as Kazaa or P2P can be a factor.

Please tell more.

I run NORTON ANTIVIRUS. Do not run any of those software programs. Note: This only happens while online.

Time to check for pests and parasites. Norton antivirus doesn't look for today's pests.

Best would be a suite of programs such as Spybot, Adaware and Housecall. If you find a pest, note its name so the forum knows what it is. This may be needed information if you don't cure it.
