General discussion

can change the emblems or not?

Feb 24, 2010 5:42PM PST

Hmmm... I've recently seen this headset in the news and I would have loved to pre order one. But I would like more information on it... Like... Do I have to decide which side to choose, i.e. horde and alliance? and also, is it comfortable or a good buy to you all?

"interchangeable headset lenses"
Feb 25, 2010 7:27PM PST

The description on the website says:

"Interchangeable headset lenses(...) Show your allegiance and customize with interchangeable headset lenses."

So I would think you do not have to select faction while buying, this would be lame.

I've pre-ordered the WoW headset already and there wasn't any prompt or whatsoever that states i need to choose which side i'm on. So... I'm so hoping that i am able to receive a whole full set of lenses! Grin

The headset looks kinda of cool.. did a search & saw a review at http://www.macworld.com/article/146434/2010/02/wow_headset.html pretty good one.. it also says "Detachable Alliance and Horde emblems, backlit with adjustable LED lights, sit on each earpiece (the headset comes with a pair of each emblem)." so i think both are included. thanks for this news i can consider getting this for my bf's birthday(obviously a wow fan)cheers!
