Can anyone offers me an English ROM for Toshiba e570?

by wylu / March 30, 2011 1:32 PM PDT

Hello there,

I have a Toshiba Genio e550x Japanese PDA, which I believe is a clone of e570. I need the English ROM of e570 desperately for I cannot read Japanes.

For that you must contact Toshiba...

The e570 and e550x run Windows Mobile, which means the ROMs may not legally be modified or distributed outside of the official channels, in this case the device manufacturer, Toshiba. If Toshiba doesn't provide the English ROM you desire for your PDA, I am afraid you're out of luck.

Thanks John

The thing is, there is a software, OSLoader, that a user can use it to backup his ROM of e570. OSloader can de found here:

What I was asking is to ask someone backup his ROM and send it to me - this may not be
perfectly appropaiate but it should be OK, well, at least I think.

Thank you very much just the same.

That's illegal...

In reply to: Thanks

The licensing agreement prohibits unauthorized distribution ("sharing") of Windows Mobile ROMs, so you'll have to contact Toshiba to see if they can oblige, though such is doubtful, especially given the age of the device in question.

The most beautiful phone ever has one wildly annoying issue

The Samsung Galaxy S8's fast speeds and fantastic curved screen make it a top phone for 2017, but the annoying fingerprint reader could sour your experience.
