ok to make it short my computer had windows me on it when it was given to me but it was missing a bunch of drivers and necessary files i didnt have a windows me installation cd but i had a 98 disk so i choose to F-disk it and than put 98 on it . so than i ran in to the problem of having only 16 bit color but i found a windows me installation cd. so i upgraded and but windows me on it again. i have an onboard video card i think thats what u call it and couldnt get 256 color to work so i got a new video card and now i have two spots to hook up a monitor on the back of the tower. atfirst i couldnt get the computer to accept the other new video card but i went onto bios and figured out how to do it.
So heres the big question the first time i had windows me on the computer before i F-disked it i could play this game called zumz just fine with no error message it says i only have 120 mb of ram and zuma needs 128 mb of ram. before it never said that. is there a setting to where it would only allow my computer to regonize 120 MB and not more. before all this i think it said I had 128 MB of ram. please help

You may need to find the video drivers. Me does not provide these.

You lost 8 Meg to video.

If you want to play games you would be advised to put a bit more memory in your machine,as you will always lose a bit. To try and play a game needing at least 128Mbs of ram with only 128Mbs on the board is more than a little bit hopefull. It wouldnt cost much just to double your memory and your machine would benefit all round.
