Are there anyone who uses gmail?? I know some things are missing, like check SSL or something similar. I have WINXP SP3 with IE8 and would appreciate anyone's help on this. Darrell

I'm confused.

Your subject is about Live Mail. The forum is about Live Mail. Then you ask about google mail.

And I never found what email client you were trying to configure. But about gmail. Google documents all that on their site. But try again and fill in a few blanks about the email software you are trying to configure.

You want to setup a gmail account which you can access using Windows Live Mail and you are unsure about the details?

See this site

Follow the steps to create a gmail account if that it what you are asking.

Thanks for the various replies, it turns out that it was not

a realistic item for me. I had both in there and I was receiving items that were not realistic. ac1818, thanks for that information, I'll have to iron out some of the info being sent is not sent. Darrell
