I worked for a big corporation, for 5+yrs I am a diabetic type 2 in December I started having bad complications with my condition so I started to miss work for hours or days at the time, I ran out of FMLA time so when I when to my HR manager she asked me about the condition so I explained what was I experiencing once she heard what I said she told me that "" I was a Liability for the company and that I shouldn't be there knowing what is happening with my condition. "" They knew about my condition for years and all of a sudden something change they denied my medical claims, so I reported the incident to the EEOC once they knew about the charge 24hrs later I started getting harassed and threatened with corrective actions the pressure started to build up on me that I was taken out of work since 11/17/2010 due to massive stress,depression and anxiety condition, The company was just sold about a month ago and I never received my severance package like every body did neither the personal items i left in the office during the time i was there. There is more people like me that went through the similar things but they are afraid to talk since this is a well known company. Thank You.
