Question

Can anAux cord be able to charge?

May 30, 2016 1:37AM PDT

With aUSB to 3.5mm aux cord can you charge a speaker? So my small Bluetooth speaker micro USB broke but I thought about when the aux cord can charge the iPod. Could that be the same with my speaker

What does the user manual of that particular speaker say about charging via the 3.5mm port?

Does it? Most likely no. I haven't seen power over such a connection for decades.

How unlikely? Very.

My bet is the cheap exit is another speaker.

Most cables you buy which connect your phone to a computer will also charge your phone. This one specifically mentions in the page it will charge your phone. So the answer to your question is yes it will charge your device.
