I've got an IPOD clone, one of those 25mm x 85mm white plastic things. It's pretty basic, with an ON\OFF switch, a multi-function dial, and a 3.5mm hole for headphones. It doesn't have a screen like the later ones.
My question concerns how the the gadget decides in which sequence to play loaded tracks. I've loaded it with a whole bunch of instructional mp3 recordings, so I want them to play in the proper order.
I have a hunch the oldest loaded tracks play first, so that's the way I've been loading them onto the device, one by one, Track1 first, Track2 next etc.
But it's occurred to me that maybe if I load a playlist, I might be able to better control the track-play sequence.
Anyone know if this would work?. Like, would the gadget see the playlist as some sort of priority file? There's no other software on the device, other than the mp3 tracks, so I've no idea how it knows what to do with the files anyway, but it certainly plays them OK.
