The life span of these devices is now about 5 years. You got more than that so your lawyer should advise you to not proceed. I know this is unacceptable to most so if you want to proceed, see if you can get a lawyer to tackle all the makers that target that 5 year life span.
I have a 2012 Smart LCD 3D TV which I bought in Costco and paid 1,699.00.
I am not a big TV watcher and maybe get 2-3 hours 5 days out if the week at most.
I have the same issue as the 2006-2008 Class action suit with TV turning itself off blinking red light with clicking trying to turn itself on. It doesn’t happen. I have been in touch with customer service twice with its out if warranty we can’t help you. Then I emailed presidential line got a call back only could make an exception if within 5 years. What a joke even though it’s besn 6 I haven’t even gotten 5 years of viewing. This is a joke when they know they have a capacitor issue.
Can you help me with getting something started or call Samsung on my behalf . You should find my complaint #3101791188 issued by Courtney.

I really would like an appeal process as I explained this TV is like new and it is blinking just like your prior issue during your 2006-2008 class action suit. This is ridiculous as I didn’t even watch 3 years of TV averaging 3 hours per day which we never watched every day. How can something as simple as sending a repair person for 160.00 hurt such a large corporation and me the senior citizen who hardly uses her TV can’t get this done. I really want a senior executive to review and call me on this matter. I feel as a loyal Samsung client I deserve at least a one time courtesy.
