Can a Projector has ± 30 Horizontal Keystone Correction Tech

Jul 19, 2016 2:44AM PDT

I'm going to buy a LED smart projector from XGIMI. Google says that XGIMI is a Chinese company and just finished their crowdfunding on Indiegogo. That's all I know.
I visited their official site and they stated that their product has function of both ±30 horizontal and vertical keystone correction.
To be honest, I don't really trust their descriptions, especially language translation misunderstanding might happen.
Also, keystone correction is one of the most important functions that I value.
So would any software expertise help me to see whether can smart projector has this function?
Or did anyone buy their Z4 Aurora?

Here's their site: http://www.xgimi.com

Thanks a lot!

"Keystone correction can be useful, but it does introduce a certain amount of degradation and distortion into the picture quality. Lens shift doesn't do that, so it's usually the better solution if you can use it."

So they didn't tell you it's inferior to lens shift. What else didn't they tell you?
Maybe the fact that most of these have no repair system in place?

Yep, what you stated that keystone correction probably will influence the picture quality is my concern too.
Here's their web, would you mind to check: www.xgimi.com

I heard Xgimi this brand from Indiegogo, and I read some comments on their pages too. It seems like keystone corrections is not discussed at all compares to other hardware/software issues.

As long as you treat it as a disposable item.
