can 2 wireless routers be used for added range?

Oct 19, 2004 2:16AM PDT

I have 2 Microsoft wireless routers...my question is that can they both be used on the same network for added range? If so can someone please explain the steps to set this up?
Thanks

I'm going to write no. Such is beyond the realm of reason when you can add a repeater and get the right effect.

I am going to have to agree, unless you can reconfigure the 2nd wireless router as a wireless hub or a wireless switch, otherwise they will just interfere with each other not work together.

Also Linksys now makes a device that is designed to be a wireless extender. It costs around $50 - $75.
