Camera with best video recording capabilities

by liufrank7-22187705802869906212317123529267 / June 28, 2008 4:27 AM PDT

Hi, I'm looking to buy either a new camera or a new camcorder. I currently have ~4 year old camera and an even older camcorder and I'm looking for replacements.

Does anyone know of any good cameras that can record high quality videos. (That can record fast motion well, ex. sports)

Thank you.

The Panasonic TZ5...samples of the video

Also the Casio F1

Some high rate video: It can do 1200FPS but suffers resolution with it that high

and a regular video

The S5IS has been caught up to in video(it only does DVD quality at 480P), but on the audio side it still remains the only one with stereo and a wind filter.

Look at the sample video on this review: it's towards the bottom with an amtrak train. It's 12MB so it'll take a little to download.

I really liked the first one. The other two were too big in size (and expensive). Do you know of any other cameras similar to the first, that are either around the same price range or cheaper Thanks again.

The Samsung RF23M8090SG

One of the best French door fridges we've tested

A good-looking fridge with useful features like an auto-filling water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It was a near-flawless performer in our cooling tests.
