Cameras that are not SLR do not have macro lens adapters. The macro ability is built into the lens.
Nikon has lead the field in lenses with macro ability.
If I want macro ability, I usually think of a lens that can focus to 4 cm or less. (That is 1.5 inches or less).
Here are the ones with 7 megapixles:
Olympus C7000 or C7070
Just announced buy not yet available are:
Nikon 7600, 7900
Here are the ones with 8 megapixles:
Canon Pro-1
Nikon 8400, 8800
Sony 828

Hey guys. I'm a sort-of advanved amateur photographer but I'm looking for a camera that can grow with me. I'm not necessarilly looking at SLRs (although right now they may be the best choice) but just a camera that has plenty of options and it has to have a macro lens adapter. Sub 1,000 would be nice. Any suggestions?
