None of the cameras you listed will work well in low light situations.
You need a camera that has manual controls so that you can alter the settings as necessary.
When using a camera in Auto mode, the camera usually selects the wrong settings for low light situations.
The only camera with manual controls that is within your price target is the Canon A75, which is being replaced by the newly released Canon A510. Either model will work in low light, but you will need to understand about the use of manual exposure controls.

hey im looking for a camera that will help me last through college, mainly takin candid shots, and pics in the dark/dim lights (party scenes) but i want the pictures to be of good quality. some optical zoom would be nice. Im guessing 3MP is enough for a camera of this type. Im not looking to spend more than $200 but if the camera is good enough, willing to spend some more for it... i was looking at the Minolta Dimage Xt, Canon SD 300, Nikon Coolpix 3200, just to name a few but not to exclude any others, but there are SO MANY! i don't know which would be the best... all you benevolent camera guru's PLEASE help me...
