camcorders and vista 64 bit

by stone4598 / May 12, 2009 6:04 AM PDT

I have been looking and reading about camcorders to get a new one. I thought I have my mind set on the new Canon FS21. I have read that the software that comes with it is not that good. Now I am hearing that it will not work with Vista 64 bit. I am getting to my wits end as to where to start looking now. I looked today at the Sony HDR-CX12. MUCH more money and I have not seen where there is any software with it. Can anybody help me with this problem? Go with Canon and just get different software( easy to do, I think) or a different camcorder all together? Also, if I do get a different software, what should I get? Thanks so very much!!!

do not rely on the software that comes with the camera

the fs21 is standard def and the hdr-cx12 is high def, so thats why its more expensive

do not rely on the software that comes with the camera. there are plenty of cheap quality video editors, so id go with the fs21 and prepare to spend $50 on a editor like Magix Movie Edit Pro 15

Meet the drop-resistant Moto Z2 Force

The Moto Z2 Force is really thin, with a fast processor and great battery life. It can survive drops without shattering.
