Camcorder to Mac Sony dcr-hc32

I'm totally clueless on how to dowload my videos from my sony hc32 to my Mac. I have 10.2.8

please help

What kind of Mac?? Does it have firewire? Does your Mac have IMovie?? If so, connect your camcorder thru firewire. Open IMovie, turn your camcorder on, make sure it is on vcr mode, and the rest is simple. (Click capture)
