camcorder to DVD

About a year ago I bought a HP dc4000 Movie Writer that does this pretty well.It is an external 8x DVD burner with a built-in Analog capture card. It plugs into a USB2 port. You can simply connect your camrorder (analog or digital),VCR, or cable TV into the HP unit, and connect the HP unit to your computer via USB2. It will capture and burn directly. It came bundled with Arc-soft's Show Biz2 which let's you edit the video and add chapters and title screens.Check your system requirements but this works very well. Of cource there are several other capture boxes or cards that also work very well, you might try Videohelp.com for more info.
