Camcorder HF100: how to backup files without imagemixer?

by blurgen / July 23, 2008 7:49 PM PDT

Hi,

I am now travelling with my brand new camcorder but want to backup the movies in case of. I forgot to bring the imagemixer software with me and now I'm sitting here with my notebook and HF100 camcorder and no way to backup the files.

I've got access to the Internet here in this hotel, but can anyone point me in a direction so I can backup the files from the internal memory on the camcorder to my notebook? I don't nee to play the files, just save them on my HDD as backup.

Can anyone help me on this one?

Thanks in advance,
Jurgen

Then why not copy the files over and out?

A few things....

The internal memory should turn up as any normal external drive or in this case, a memory card reader.

Also, since you said you have a HF100, that means there isn't any internal memory, only a slot for SDHC cards...

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
