Question

Camcorder Color Balancing

Apr 23, 2015 6:00AM PDT

On most camcorders, exposure and focus adjust automatically on a per-frame basis. Is White Color Balancing, when set on Auto, adjusts per frame or per clip?
I am new at this and realize that an answer exists. If so, a pointer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Paul

Answer
Sadly it varies with the model.

My last camcorder didn't do either. I had to enter a menu and do a white balance.

Camcorder Color Balancing

Perhaps I should rephrase the question. Are there camcorders that perform white balancing automatically for each frame?

Again, this is model specific.

I'm going with no about each frame since there would be no way to color correct a shoot if it did!
