Camcorder/camera combo

Apr 3, 2005 9:43AM PDT

Hey,
I am looking for something that combines a digital camera and a digital camcorder, something similar to the Panasonic D-Snap or Fisher Cameracorder. Perferably something with no tape all memory card. Thanks for any help.

You might want to look at the Canon S1

It takes better pictures than either one you mentioned, and pretty good video.

It eats memory though, a 1GB card will get you about 8 minutes of full size video.

On the camcorder side, look at the Optura 60

It does use tape, but good video, and some of the best stills I've seen from a camcorder (albeit 2 megapixel).
