Camcorder

Need to buy a new Camcorder. I would like it to be really small, such as the Sony DCR-HC40. Is that a good choice? Any other recommendations? Can spend up to $600.
Thanks for the help.

It means that you can use the camera to convet VHS taps into digital format and import them in you PC then burn them to a DVD. Check out this link for more info. John
