Call of Duty sketchy on New Vista Machine.

Jul 11, 2007 11:29PM PDT

Got a new Computer with an integrated chipset that is DirectX 10. Now when play Call of Duty the Graphics are sharp but you see stuff where you should not. Phantom images and stuff from other areas of the Map. Any ideas? Thinking of getting a Graphics card but I do not do heavy gaming just a little Call of Duty or Rise of Nations. Any Help?

Since no make or model, just the usual.

Without those items you are asked to share (words in red) you are stuck with calling it's maker and asking if said game should run on your laptop. Many laptops can't run these games.

I got the eMachines T5226. Intel PentiumD Processor with Dual 3ghz Processors. Intel Graphics Media Accelorator 950. Pretty sure with the 945G Chipset. DirextX 10. Windows Vista Premium. Currently have game installed under XP settings.

Bingo. The 950 is a known issue.

Go get a 256MB 3D card and it will work fine.

Cool so now i know. Had been thinking of gettig one. Does the card have to be DirextX 10 compatible or just say Vista Compatible? Thanks for the info though.

(NT) 'Vista Compatible' is fine, though DirectX 10 is preferred.
