Call forwarding from my US number to an Australian Number

Hi there,

I have a AT&T "Pay as you go" US number. It doesn't allow me to call forward internationally on plan.

Is there a 3rd party or another service where I can get my number that I already have (not a new one) and forward the calls to my Australian Number hosted by the Optus network for my iphone.

much help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Did you ask them what plan does this?

You do that or walk to the next vendor and keep asking.

No need for me to tell you why this is so. They tell you.

Call Forwarding

I travel lot internationally. This is what I do.

When the flight attendant announces to shut down electronic devices, I will activate call forwarding to my skype number and I forward my skype phone to the international number. You can use skype or any other VOIP service which is cheaper. For using skype number you have to buy from skype at $60 per year or $30 with an unlimited US / Canada plan for $2.95 per month. You may also need to get skype credits for international call which is cheaper than AT&T international calls.

Since you are forwarding to a local US number this should work perfect.
