Then it's time to calibrate it to your room. Those calibrations you see in the forum I noted are not a match for your room. Your room could have dark or light walls of some color and more variables. So get it calibrated but given the reviews I'd balk/squawk at the seller about the issue with this model and get it returned for something better. It's not a bad "value" but you are complaining about the model's DNA. Something you can't change.

I was and failed to explain why this model might not benefit from settings others use as well as get you to the forum where some shared their settings.

My advice is to get it calibrated or consider it's a value model that has some issues (that you know about.)

Wish I had found settings that ruled them all.
